Our exceptional, friendly staff is one of our greatest assets, and we are proud of their long time association with our office. Patients tell us often how well we work together as a team.

We pride ourselves on staying on the cutting edge of dentistry and great patient communication. Each of our team members is motivated to achieve the best results for our patients in a calming and comfortable setting.


Office Manager

Michele Kasper

After serving as a hygienist with the office beginning in 2006, Michele Kasper enthusiastically decided to move to the front office when the opportunity arose. Michele loves serving our patients’ administrative needs and shares her joy of dentistry in her new role as Office Manager.  A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, class of 1991, Michele moved to Pittsburgh from the Philadelphia area where she was first employed.  Like the rest of our  team, Michele loves working with patients, playing a part in keeping them healthy, and getting to know them personally.  Michele is married and has two beautiful daughters.

Jessica Stein

Jessica Stein loves working at Uptown dental as much as the team enjoys working with her. Patients appreciate Jessica’s friendly, kind and approachable attitude as she assists them with scheduling, financial needs, and answers to their questions. Prior to joining our team, Jessica had five years of experience in the healthcare field as a medical assistant. She made the transition into the dental field in 2015, when she brought her energy and customer service skills to our office.

When not at work, Jessica loves spending time with her husband and their three daughters. Making memories camping in the summer is one of her favorite pastimes

 Tiffany, Dental Assistant

Tiffany Waibel

Tiffany Waibel has worked in dentistry as a Certified Dental Assistant for over 15 years. Tiffany graduated with honors from the dental assisting program at the Bradford School. She was excited to move into an administrative role when the opportunity was presented. She loves helping patients feel comfortable in the dental office and enjoys meeting so many wonderful people each day. 

Tiffany is an enthusiastic advocate for organ donation; she was blessed with the gift of life via a living-donor in 2025. When she’s not in the office, she loves to spend time with her husband and loved ones, being a “Disney Adult,” and keeping up with Pittsburgh’s sports teams! 

 

Brianna Brown

Brianna Brown is our newest member of the Uptown Dental administrative team. With five years of experience in the dental field, she has discovered a true passion for helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visits to the office. From the moment patients walk through our door, Bri’s compassion and kindness welcomes them. Building positive connections and ensuring each patient feels valued is at the heart of what she does. 

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog. She also loves fishing, crafting, and exploring new adventures whenever she can.

 

Patient Coordinators

Erin Ramsey

Erin Ramsey joined the  Uptown Dental Team in 2024. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Erin graduated with honors from the Pittsburgh Career Institute in 2017  as a Certified Dental Assistant. She then continued her training to complete her EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant) license at Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology in Bellfonte, PA.  Together she and Dr. Racic make a wonderful team enhancing patient’s smiles. She facilitates the doctor’s work greatly, and ensures each patient’s visit is comfortable as well as productive. Erin is dedicated to the field of dentistry, and is enjoying building relationships with the patients at Uptown Dental. 
Outside of the office, Erin enjoys spending time with her wife, and their large circle of friends, family, and pets.

 

Moriah Grossman

Moriah is our newest patient coordinator here at Uptown Dental. A graduate  of Cannon Mac High School class of 2017, and Waynesburg University class of 2021, Moriah earned a bachelor’s degree  in psychology with a minor in counseling. Moriah then when on to complete the Dental Assistant training program at the University of Pittsburgh in 2025.  She choose to work in dentistry to  assist the doctors delivery of excellent care. Moriah enjoys the opportunity to hone new skills and master new technology, all the while ensuring patients’ comfort and ease. 

Outside of work Moriah enjoys watching movies, listening to music, hiking the great trails of Southwestern PA.


Hygienists

The office hygienists are Julia Michalski, and Myia Irwin.  They are highly dedicated to the practice of preventive dentistry to ensure your optimal dental health. Both of them have that “thorough but gentle touch”, and we are fortunate to have such experienced and personable clinicians to serve our patients. In addition, the hygienists participate in their own hygiene study club, as well as join the doctors at their’s. They are proud of the number of days they dedicate to continuing education to serve our patients with the best dental health care they provide..

Julia Michalski

Julia Michalski is the newest provider at Uptown Dental and we are thrilled she has joined our team!  She graduated as Salutatorian from the University of Pittsburgh’s dental hygiene program in May 2024 and is currently completing her bachelor’s degree at the University in Healthcare Administration. She thoroughly enjoys all aspects of patient care and looks forward to  getting to know all of our great patients at Uptown Dental!   Her most important goals are to have people feel more comfortable at the dentist and for them to leave feeling proud of their smiles. In her free time, Julia loves hiking, camping, and cooking new recipes. 

Myia Irwin

Myia Irwin’s introduction to our office was during her training as a dental assistant in 2011, and it was during those months she decided to pursue a career as a hygienist.  Myia graduated from the University of Pittsburgh’s dental hygiene program in 2014. From there, she continued at the University to complete her bachelor’s degree and work as a teaching assistant with the dental hygiene department.  Over the last ten years, Myia’s ongoing goal has been to create a comfortable patient experience while providing thorough care. She has expanded the hygiene services available to our patients and serves as a  mentor to other hygienists. During Myia’s free time she enjoys traveling with her husband, working on home projects, and experimenting in the kitchen.
