Andrea Racic, DMD

Dr. Andrea Racic received her doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine graduating  summa cum laude. She received the Dr. Elliot Brodie Award for Clinical Competence, awarded by the schools faculty for excellence in restorative dentistry (fillings, implants, etc). Prior to earning her dental degree, Dr. Racic graduated from Penn State University with a degree in biology and neuroscience. Both at Pitt and Penn State, Dr. Racic distinguished herself with numerous research projects and publications.  She sought out leadership and teaching opportunities at every level of her education.  Dr. Racic will be expanding the services currently offered by Uptown Dental, including delivery of Botox for TMJ therapy and facial esthetics.  She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, The Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry, and the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Racic grew up in Mt. Lebanon and attended Mt. Lebanon High School. One of her dreams (and frankly ours, too) was to practice dentistry in the community she knows so well.  Uptown Dental is thrilled that Dr. Racic has chosen to bring her skills, enthusiasm and compassion to our practice to serve our patients’ dental health.  Andis interests outside the office include traveling, reading, exercise, and spending time with family and friends.  Please ask her to tell you about her sweet dogs, Luna and Leo during your dental visits.
