Important Information Regarding COVID-19

Dear Patients and Friends,

The health and safety of our community at Uptown Dental is our #1 priority.

During this unprecedented time of COVID-19, Uptown Dental is continuing to serve your dental healthcare needs. Since reopening, Uptown Dental has instituted various infection control procedures to minimize  the spread of airborne illness.  These are just some of the new safety equipment and procedures in place:

  • Air purifiers with HEPA filters and UVC lamps for every room to filter airborne virus particles
  • Safety partitions at the front counter
  • Personal protective masks, gowns, face shields, and scrub caps
  • Aerosol reducers inside and outside of the mouth
  • Room foggers for disinfection
  • New pre-rinse protocol prior to treatment
Preparing for Your Appointment
  • Go online to our website and complete our pre-screening questionnaire / consent form. This must be done before you arrive at the office. Without these forms completed in advance, we will not be able to see you for your treatment.
  • When you arrive at the building, please call or text us prior to coming upstairs to our suite. We will inform you when the team is ready to seat you in the treatment area.
  • A team member will take your temperature and review your pre-screening questionnaire and consent forms. If everything has been properly completed, you will enter the office for your treatment. If not, treatment will need to be postponed to a later date.
  • You must enter the office alone. Any spouses, drivers or other guests accompanying you must remain outside the office unless special circumstances dictate special arrangements.
  • Please wear your mask into the office and keep it on until you are instructed by a team member to remove it. When you exit the treatment room, you will place the mask on again.
